About Rutherford House

Rutherford House School is primary state school based in Balham (South London). We opened our doors in September 2013 and we have two classes per year group.

We are committed to the highest and rigours standards in both academic and personal development and - more importantly - we believe that happy children learn better.

We we want children to be excited to come to school every day, and provide a secure and nurturing environment where pupils feel safe, valued and able to express themselves. 

All pupils who graduate from Rutherford House School are well-rounded, independent and confident in all they choose to do, ready for the next phase of their learning journey.

Rutherford House School is part of a family of schools supported by the Bellevue Place Education Trust (BPET).
